PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Ultima II 20,000 is a pressurised bio-mechanical filter built for heavy fish loads. Its backwash is cyclonic: internal jets scour the media rather than you stripping the filter down. It takes minutes.
It is rated for ponds up to 20,000 gallons and wants 7,000 to 7,500 gph through it. Undersize the pump and the filter cannot do its job, so plan on a pump that delivers 7,500 gph at 10 feet of head.

Before you order
Two things to settle first. Confirm your pump actually hits 7,500 gph at your real head height, not its rating on the box. And if you intend to bury the body, work out backwash drain routing before the hole is dug.
