PondWise is being shaped around a simple problem: pond owners run out of food, forget seasonal changes, or are not sure what to reorder when the weather shifts. Tony is testing a quarterly care box built around in-stock food, bacteria, treatments, and simple seasonal reminders.

For ponds under 3,600 gallons with light fish load, goldfish, small koi, or plants. Possible quarterly box: seasonal food, bacteria, barley, and a care card.

Serious Koi Care

$145/mo concept

For moderate/heavy koi load or mid-size ponds. Possible quarterly box: seasonal koi food, bacteria, sludge support, phosphate control, and dosing notes.

Waitlist status: product mix test.

Estate Pond Care

$395/mo concept

For large ponds, heavy koi load, or estate water features. Possible premium box: larger food quantity, premium food upgrades, treatments, and Tony review.

Waitlist status: priority research target.

Seasonal rotation

The box idea follows the pond calendar.

SpringCool-water food, startup bacteria, test strips, and reminders when water rises above 50F.
SummerGrowth or color food, possible treats, phosphate control, and warm-water clarity support.
FallCool-water food transition, sludge cleanup, netting reminders, and pre-winter checklist.
WinterPause option in colder climates or reduced maintenance shipment where fish are still active.

Measure real demand

The waitlist is testing region, pond size, fish load, annual pond spend, and whether quarterly billing feels useful.

Confirm suppliers and shipping

Tony still needs to confirm mixed-brand ordering, minimums, Brooklyn shipping, box weight, and launch regions.

Invite founding members

If the numbers work, early waitlist customers will be invited first and may receive founding-member rate access.
