EasyPro 1800 Pressurized Bead Filter - PBF1800
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The EasyPro PBF1800 is a standalone pressurized bead filter for mechanical and biological filtration in ponds rated up to 1,800 gallons. It includes 0.75 cubic feet of Ultimate Tube Media and a six-position control valve.
Filter only: plan the rest of your system
A pump and UV clarifier are not included. This is the standard PBF1800, not the PBF1800BL package with a backwash blower. Check any blower accessory against this model before ordering.
Check pond load and installed flow
Pond volume is one part of sizing. Confirm fish load, feeding, installed pump flow, and maintenance needs. The manufacturer manual recommends no more than 30 GPM (1,800 GPH) through this model.
- Check the 1-1/2-inch inlet/outlet connections and allow room to operate the valve and service the filter.
- Provide a suitable backwash waste line. Turn the pump off before moving the control valve.
- Follow the manual for assembly, startup, backwashing, and winter shutdown.
